Eternity

Eternity

I roam in the field of humanity
Find the depth of human nature—
Sunk in jealousy, fiery, cruelty.

The human heart–a mortal dress
Does it know what is in the destination?
All glory fly away when death chase.

Just a short trip to the land of illusion
A shadowy dream from the visionary light
After the hoary course–an entry into eternity.

A new gleam from the eternal sun
Love, beauty, grace, joy unbound
Like a sea of eternity done.

My memory fills with a great loss;
A transient life but a final gateway
To the abode of all lives—no more pretence.

Piteous days past but wisdom not lost.
A cold kindness grows in me
A rich wisdom embraces me.
