Fear

Fear

Pale and bleak the day Leafless, arid path through the wood
A pony grazes
An owl hoots, a gang
Moves fast, a child’s cry
A wretch pops.
Those unfortunate lay
Crowd of ignorance, full cry
Threat was heard and gone.
Fear is everywhere.
Is it the fear of our first cry?
Where is the peace?
A cry and a more cry for you
Or an eternal cry like the Man
You cannot live without it.
Fear in day and night
In thoughts and positions;
The house where you wait for
Those violent souls,
A line of crowd
Fear to say and not to say,
To believe and not to believe.
More promises from the varmints
Less the implements to keep up the metaphysics.
Dying generation advances first
Indulges in lofty pleasure.
Fear for them, what for the next.
The world is the same
An indifference prevails
I envision these apparitions and
Keep silence at the end of the journey.
