Home

I wander between two worlds
Like summer birds to unknown lands,
Go through many trials and tribulations,
But learn the skills to know the vastness
Of the world in a small space.
People from everywhere gather here,
Their daily struggles for existence
Unbound dreams, uncouth paths;
Despite hardness, hopeful minds seek
The solace of being a part of new lands.
Still conflicts what to accept or not
But in the shifting times only to
Cling to nowhere and everywhere.
What is left is the memory,
A great distance from home,
Become a stranger to those who
Fear the violation of their authenticity.
Whatever the distant space, reconciliation
Comes when the competence grows to adapt.
My home is where I belong.
Hyphenated name, no matter but spaces,
Mingled sensibilities with new languages, new settings
I live, seek refuge and limitless imagination.
It is the existence, essence of belonging
It is the way of exploring the world
It is the routine of our everyday lives.
An ambitious living but the ties are many.
Who can deny a possibility of mutability?
Leave all humiliations and begin reconciliation
No matter of fixity but flexibility
I Wander the city this night
Measure the depth of humanity in my silence and space.
To be free from the greedy multitude,
Only consolation to stay where I belong
Only consolation not to expect where I don’t belong,
Hope is not to exceed nor to be lesser
Hope is not to go back nor to go beyond.
