A River’s Longing

(A River’s Longing)

The river dried with stones and pebbles
Scattered all around unmoved,

The long lost flow, still lost
The ripples, the waves gone long

Vanishes long the symphony of song
The sullen river cries in dry,

Looks up in the sky with hopes
Searching for clouds to be densed in deep dark

Longing to see pouring down on the dry breast
Making dreams fulfilled with source of life force

Full to the brims overflowing on all sides
And flowing boundlessly on its way

From limits to the limitless
To the horizons and beyond horizons

With gravely gracious gravity
A beauty with fierce and inspiration,

A synthesizing life force of
All beauty and wonder of all wonders.
