Everyone in this world is aware of the heavenly figure
He is lord Buddha
He is Siddhartha
History reads aloud about his enlightenment and preaching
Temples and monasteries are named after this heavenly figure
But no one talks about Yasodhara and her sacrifice of womanliness
Her brave heart which endured the pain of separation
Fragmented was she like every other woman of this society in the
Confined walls
Who talked about her? Neither history nor we.
